Vocational training as a specialist in pipe, sewer and industrial services

  • You complete a three-year traineeship as a specialist in pipes, drainage and industrial services (FRKI) with a company distinguished with the Brandenburg apprenticeship prize. Each year BUCHEN offers 20 young people an apprenticeship with excellent future prospects. A key aspect of the job is the removal and professional disposal of residues, deposits or impurities. It combines customer and service-oriented tasks, practical aptitude as well as an understanding of scientific and technical relationships. Prerequisites for this career path include:

      • Secondary or comprehensive school leaving certificate with good grades in scientific subjects

Vocational training as industrial manager

  • The area of responsibility for an industrial business manager extends to all functions within the company. You will support all company processes from a commercial perspective, from order preparation to customer service after completion of an order. In this way, budding industrial business managers get to know the company structures of the individual divisions and acquire commercial, organisational and business expertise.

    Good communication skills are particularly important; negotiation skills, confident conversational techniques and a friendly manner are indispensable for dealing with colleagues, customers and suppliers.

Vocational training as IT business manager

  • IT business managers work on projects for planning, adapting and implementing information and communication technology (IT) systems. The main focuses of the projects are commercial considerations, such as cost-benefit analyses of new computers or network expansions. You will advise and support employees using the systems to process specialist tasks and are responsible for the system management (network administration, database management).
    IT business managers work primarily with customers of software providers in the industry, trade, banks, insurance companies and hospitals. They act as mediators and links between the requirements of specialist departments and the realisation of IT systems.

    IT business managers determine which solutions are required and then discuss with their contacts at hardware and software manufacturers, usually the IT system sales managers. Your principal tasks include the following:

      • analysing business processes regarding the utilisation of IT systems
      • consulting on the fields of application for IT systems
      • planning, implementing and controlling IT projects
      • developing requirement profiles and specifications
      • determining the IT requirement
      • purchasing and introducing new IT systems
      • creating and implementing application solutions taking account of technical and economic aspects
      • administrating IT systems (network administration, database management)
      • advising and training users
      • programming application tools

Vocational training as automotive mechatronics specialist

  • If you have an interest in automobiles, an understanding of technical and electronic matters and are looking for different jobs covering all aspects of automotive technology, a traineeship in the motor vehicle trade is right for you.

    In a modern motor vehicle workshop, vehicle mechanics and electronics can no longer be separated. Numerous automobile functions are electronically controlled. Both these focus areas have led to the creation of the new skilled occupation “automotive mechatronics technician”. In our company, the focus is on commercial vehicles, e.g. our own high-pressure pumps, suction pump vehicles or pneumatic waste extraction systems.

    If you have an interest in automobiles as well as a good physics and technical understanding (above all in the areas of electronics, pneumatics and hydraulics), a secondary school or very good comprehensive school diploma, and work well in a team, you are a suitable candidate for an automotive mechatronics technician traineeship at our company.

    In addition to conventional disassembly and assembly, reconstruction, inspection, measuring, diagnostics and retrofitting tasks, the traineeship also focuses on brake, chassis, damping and level control systems, drive assemblies, manual and automatic transmissions, vehicle body systems and data communication cables.
