Clamping devices
Increasing working pressures in manual cleaning procedures mean
an increased risk for the user. In the past, accidents have occurred
repeatedly, some with fatal outcome.
It is time to do something about it.
The result is Buchen's own development of a safety clamping device
for HP hoses and lances.
This clamping device is a mobile mounting for rigid and
flexible lances for the internal cleaning of pipes and heat exchangers.
It is first positioned on the object to be cleaned by simple and
rapid clamping. The lance is then mounted in the clamping
device. Steering arms permit fixation in any desired position.
The user is protected against uncontrolled recoil on expulsion
of the lance and against excessive discharge of contaminated
spray water. This patented development was certified at the end
of last year by the occupational safety and insurance body and
is today stipulated as standard equipment for assignments in the chemical industry.
