Chemical etching and cleaning
In industrial plants, components and products are used and processed that cause contamination on and in plant installations which is particularly hard to remove. The affected facilities cease to reach the requisite heat transmission or cooling values, consume more energy or are reduced in their throughput capacity.
In newly built industrial plants, welding residues such as scale and annealing colours can form the basis for corrosion and product contamination. This can be prevented by etching prior to commissioning.
The Buchen Group offers its customers non-abrasive chemical etching and cleaning services that can remove such deposits. The cleaning solution depends on the type of contamination and the plant material.

The cleaning and etching work is carried out on the customer's premises by a circulation or spray method. To ensure effective cleaning, chemical pumps are available with delivery rates of 10 – 180 m³/h.
