RAL quality label for industrial system services officially awarded!

Martin Hennerici, chairman of Gütegemeinschaft Industrieanlagenservice – GIAS (quality association for industrial system services), ceremoniously handed over the certification document for the RAL quality label industrial system services to Hans-Dieter Behrens, managing director of Buchen UmweltService GmbH during a networking evening of the WVIS Wirtschaftsverband Industrieservice on October 12, 2010, within the scope of the Maintain 2010 in Munich.
Buchen UmweltService GmbH was the first company to receive the RAL quality label for industrial system services in July of last year. Including the internationally renowned quality label of RAL, WVIS and the quality association for industrial system services defined criteria for industrial service providers that are tested by independent organisations.
The examination was conducted by TÜV-Rheinland Cert GmbH on behalf of the quality association for industrial system services (GIAS).
With the introduction of the RAL quality label, for industrial system services, the WVIS is providing an essential impulse for the comparability of services in industrial service and thus for more transparency in the market in the first year of association work. The quality label was developed with the goal of setting standards in industrial service, creating uniform definitions and promoting sustainability in the sector.
The quality association for industrial system services founded by WVIS monitors whether quality specifications are adhered to and awards the quality label.
Criteria like high qualification, training and advancement of staff, the intrinsic value of the service for customers, analyses of customer satisfaction and the integration of ecological and social requirements in the economic requirements find special attention during the award of the quality label.
