Buchen presents itself at apprenticeship fairs

As a prelude to the beginning of the apprenticeships for next summer, there was an event at the Korczak-Realschule in Troisdorf. In four passages, Andreas Riesen (Industrieservice Niehl) and Claudia Thienenkamp from the ZF technology and purchasing presented our apprenticeship "specialists for piping, canal and industry service" to interested students on 08.10.2009. The high pressure cleaning vehicle, which was parked on the school yard, was particularly exciting for the boys and girls.

On October 28, 2009, the Buchen Group was represented at the "Step2", the largest apprenticeship fair in the Lower Rhine region. On about 6,000 sq. m., up to 100 participating companies showed around 8000 students from the region the apprenticeship possibilities in different sectors. There was a rush at the Buchen stand. A lot of students noticed during the conversations that they were still completely disoriented in regards to their occupational selection. That is why it was even more exciting for us to be able to interest a few young men from Duisburg and the surrounding area for our occupational image for "specialists for piping, canal and industry service". Wolfgang Kurschildgen from the ZF technology and purchasing held a twenty-minute lecture on the main stage in order to report about the Buchen Group, the apprenticeship and the occupational perspectives. Claudia Thienenkamp made contacts with schools and corporate educational institutions in order to conduct further informational events in the future. Matthias Bylitza from the Ruhr region provided reinforcement at the stand in order to be able to tell the students about his first-hand experience.

Within the scope of the nationwide recruiting of students looking for apprenticeships, there will be the "checkPraxis" on 07.12 in cologne and on 23.01.2010, there will be the "Berufemarkt Eberswalde". More dates will follow.

Do you know somebody who is interested in an apprenticeship to become a specialist for the piping, canal and industry service? We are now accepting applications for apprenticeships beginning in 2010.
