Buchen is now also in Poland!
In late 2009 a new Polish company "Buchen Industrial Services Polska Sp. z o. o.", headquartered in Warsaw was founded. However, the operational activities of the Eastern European Buchen subsidiary, will be performed from the location in the city of Gliwice, in order to service the numerous customers in Silesia from there.
Gliwice is located in an area with a high industrial density, and is so to speak, the "industrial focal point" in Poland. In this economic zone alone there are four steel mills, numerous power plants, mining companies and production facilities of well-known car manufacturers, such as GM Opel and Fiat. Overall, a good vantage point for this location.
First successful projects, such as the refinery Grupa Lotos, left a good impression with the Polish customers and generated further inquiries and orders. Especially for the Buchen Group's innovative automated cleaning technology, such as the automated tank and vessel cleaning, air cooler cleaning and automated heat exchanger cleaning, there is a demand among Polish customers.
Innovative technology also requires a well-trained staff, that can operate this technology competently. In February 2010 the first eleven native staff members were hired in Gliwice. To properly prepare the new colleagues for the task ahead, they first attended the industrial service training courses in the company's training center in Voerde and completed the respiratory support training in theory and practice. Under the guidance of experienced expert colleagues the new Polish staff members were able to implement what they had learned into practice at various Buchen locations in North Rhine-Westphalia. True to the motto: "Training does not start at the customer's location," the new Polish Buchen company will kick-off their operations with well-trained staff.
