Buchen presents itself at the recruiting fair in Duisburg

On October 28, 2009, the Buchen Group was represented as an exhibitor at the “Step2”, the largest recruiting fair in the Lower Rhine region. On about 6,000 square meters, up to 100 recruiting companies showed around 8,000 students from the region which apprenticeship possibilities there are in the different branches. The Buchen stand was also well frequented.

A lot of students realized during the conversations that were really lacking direction in regards to their occupational selection. This made it even better for our team to be able to interest a few young men from Duisburg and the region for the occupational field of “specialists for piping, canal and industry service.

Claudia Thienenkamp made contact with schools and corporate educational institutions in order to conduct further information events in the future. Matthias Bylitza from the Ruhr location reported to the students with exhibits from real life situations.

Wolfgang Kurschildgen from the technology department held a twenty-minute lecture on the main stage where he reported about the Buchen Group, the job for training and the occupational perspectives connected with this.
